There are 2 factors responsible for Corrosion:

> Oxygen
>Water(moisture ;water vapours etc.)

=> If one of these is stopped then corrosion doesn't happen.

So methods to stop corrosion are:

• Painting
• Oiling
• Coating of non-corrosive metals such as Stainless Steel.
• Electroplating with gold or platinum.
