two equal and opposite charges when placed in electric field attract each other with a force which is-1.)directly proportional to the product of the 2 charges
                        2.)inversely proportional to the square of distance between them.
                        3.)depends on the nature of medium
Formula--------------
two charges Qa and Qb separated by a distance r will attract each other with a force,
        F  α   \frac{QaQb}{ r^{2} }
        F  =   \frac{KQaQb}{ r^{2} }
               where K is coulumbs constant having value 8.9× 10^{9} N m²/C²
               also K=1/4π∉
so F can also be written as
F=1QaQb/4π∉r²

In physics , Coulombs law is stated as the force acting between two electric charges is radial, inverse-square, and proportional to the product of the charges.!!
