countable nouns r those which can be counted.......for eg. 5 pencils.as we can count pencils in a definite order so it is called a countable noun
uncountable nouns r those which cannot be counted but only measured ........for eg. some sugar.as we cannot the no. of sugar so it is called uncountable noun
(if specific amount is mentioned such as 5 kg of sugar still it remains an uncountable noun)
