Covalent Compound, also know as Covalent Bonding, is another way atoms can attain full outer electron shells. They share electrons in covalent bond. A group of atoms held together by covalent bonds are called Molecules.

There are three types of Covalent Bond :

Single Bond

Which the atoms only share one electron each, which forms a single bond.

Double Bond

Which pairs of atoms shares two electrons, which form a double bond.

Triple Bond

Which three electrons are shared, forming a triple bond.

And BTW,  I am pretty sure that your Covalent Compound's "compound" was spelled wrongly.

It is spelled "COMPOUND" instead of cmpouund.
