The secretions produced by the Cowper's glands help to protect sperm as it passes through the urethra during ejaculation. In response to sexual stimulation prior to ejaculation, the Cowper's glands begin producing an alkaline mucous secretion known as pre-ejaculate.

<b>hlo frnd here is ur answer

The bulbourethral glands (Cowper's gland) are part of the male reproductive system. ... They are exocrine glands with approximately 2.5 cm ducts that pass through the perineal membrane and into the nearby portion of the spongy urethra. When sexually aroused, the glands produce a mucous-like fluid called pre-ejaculate.
