It stands for “Corresponding parts of Congruent triangles”, It is used mainly after proving congruency between triangles. By congruency we mean that both the triangles are absolutely equal to each other, from sides as well as angles. So once, we prove them Congruent by using the standard axioms, such as SSS,SAS,ASA,RHS,AAS, which is done by observing a specific set of corresponding angles and sides, and once it is done the rest of the corresponding sides and angles becomes equal. By writing CPCT we end it there.
