Kreb cycle was proposed by Sir Hans Kreb. This cycle is named after him. It is also called as Carboxylic acid cycle or Citric Acid cyle. The Acetyle CoA molecule enter the mitochondria located in the cytoplasm. They participate in the reaction in kreb cycle. In the cyclic reaction of Kreb cycle, Acetyl CoA molecule is completely oxidize. It yields molecules of Co²,H²O,NADH²,FADH² and ATP upon complete oxidation.

Answer :- The citric acid cycle is also known as the TCA cycle or the Krebs cycle. When the pyruvate, a 3 carbon molecule, is broken down using oxygen in mitochondria, it is called Kreb's cycle. This process gives the product, carbon dioxide + water + energy. It is called aerobic respiration. Basically, Kreb's cycle is a series of chemical reactions used by all aerobic organisms.
