hey mate here is u'r answer

Critical angle :. the angle of incidence beyond which rays of light passing through a denser medium to the surface of a less dense medium are no longer refracted but totally reflected...

hope it helps you ..

prashantkumar83417: rply plse
AishaSingh2245: when
prashantkumar83417: hey
AishaSingh2245: When the angle of incidence in water reaches a certain critical value, therefracted ray lies along the boundary, having an angle of refraction of 90-degrees. This angle of incidence isknown as the critical angle; it is the largest angle of incidence for whichrefraction can still occur.
prashantkumar83417: how are you
AishaSingh2245: here critical material is water u can take
prashantkumar83417: ok
AishaSingh2245: thanks for your question
AishaSingh2245: ok

CRITICAL ANGLE -WHEN A RAY OF LIGHT PASSES FROM A MEDIUM OF HIGHER OPTICAL DENSITY TO A MEDIUM OF LOWER OPTICAL DENSITY ,THE ANGLE OF INCIDENCE AT WHICH THE ANGLE OF REFRACTION BECOMES 90° IS THE CRITICAL ANGLE.
