CRR refers to the Cash Reserve Ratio ...
Meaning...
It's the % over the total deposit money in bank that must keep by rules of RBI...
It is 4% in India....RBI fixed it and all commercial bank kept this to meet with their credit requirements...
In case of excess demand it increase to stop credit capicity of bank and vice versa...
