✔✔The process of crystallization is used to purify a solid from its impurities.

_____________________________

✴How to do this process?

▶First of all we take about 5 gram of impure sample of copper sulphate in a China dish.

▶After that we dissolve it in minimum amount of water, then filter the impurities.

▶Saturate the solution by heating that is when some solid starts evaporation.

▶Then we cover the solution with filter paper and leave it undisturbed to cool slowly for a day.

▶We will obtain the crystals of copper sulphate in the China dish.

we have seen many process for separating mixtures like evaporation used to separate any solute from its solution. winnowing used to separate light particles from heavy particles. chormatography to separate colours in a dye etc.

but we don't get pure substances. still they r impure. to purify solids or any other substances we use the process of crystallisation.

take an example of salt. salt is made from sea water and there's lots if impurities with it. the impurities get mixed with salt too. to purify it and to remove all impurities, crystallisation is used.

it is a process which separate a solid in it's pure form from its solution.

 \bf{ACTIVITY:-}

↪take some salt and dissolve it in some water.

↪filter the solution.

↪ evaporate it and make it a Saturated solution.

↪ cover the solution with a filter paper and leave it undisturbed for one day.

↪after that u will see crystals of salt and this will be the pure form of salt.
