SQUARE ROOT : Multiplying a number by it self once

example , 2×2=4

CUBE ROOT : Multiplying a number by itself twice

example , 2×2×2= 8

cube root means...

a number (let it be 'x') you will have to multiply it thrice... and u get a number 'y'... then x is cube root of y.....

eg-- x³ = x * x * x = y

2³ = 2 * 2 * 2 = 8

so 2 is cube root of 8

similarly

square root --.. square root of a number y is a number which if multiplied with itself (same number) u get y

ex - x² = x * x = y

2² = 2 * 2 = 4....

so 2 is square root of 4....
