GIVEN DATA :-

In a cone ,

Height (h) = 15cm

Diameter = 16cm = Radius (r) = 8cm

l =  \sqrt{ {r}^{2} +  {h}^{2}  }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{ {8}^{2} +  {15}^{2}  }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{64 + 225}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{289}  \\  \\  = 17cm

TO CALCULATE :- Curve Surface Area (CSA) of the cone.

SOLUTION :-

csa =  \pi r l \\  \\  = \pi \times 8 \times 17 \\  \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 8 \times 17 \\  \\  =  \boxed{csa = 427.42cmsq.}

Th CSA of the cone is 427.42cmsq. [ANS]
