What is cycle of period in girls???
Answers
Hi. It is known as menstruation. It can be defined as the monthly maturing of an egg in girls when they reach puberty. Every 28 days, an egg is matured and shedded. The egg, if not fertilized by a sperm is removed from the female body through the vagina along with blood. If the egg is fertilized, it results in the formation of a zygote and then an embryo and the woman is said to be pregnant. This cycle is known as the menstrual cycle or period. Periods end at the age of 50 in females and this is known as menopause. Hope it helps.
