the portion of the Protoplasm lying into the cell membrane but outside the nuclear membrane is called cytoplasm.(kytos- hollow , plasma- liquid)

it acts as a ground substance for all cell activities.

it is made up of Carbohydrates proteins fats minerals vitamins along with a large portion of water.

all these components work together to provide a unique living nature to the Protoplasm.

CYTOPLASM - it is jelly like material present between cell membrane and nucleus.

SUB PART OF CYTOPLASM :-

=> Mitochondria
=> Plastid
=> Golgi bodies
=> Endo plasmic
=> Reticulum
=> Vacuoles
=> Lysosome
=> Ribosome
=> Centresomes

Plastid and vacuoles are present only in plants.
