Answer:

A dilute solution is a one that has only a little solute dissolved in a certain amount of solvent. In other words, a small amount of solute in between the solvent molecules.

Explanation:

If you only need some examples of a dilute solution, I will give you some.

Most liquids around us are made by putting much solvent (like water) to them, so the concentration of them are made lower.

This process is called "dilution."

e.g. vinegar

Vinegar's chief component is acetic acid (,CH3COOH); however, this chemical liquid is also an acid, so it is dangerous in itself.

So what should we do to prevent chemical reaction between CH3COOH and other species?

The answer is to make this dangerous liquid thin!

The concentration of vinegar is made lower, so we can taste it!

NaCl aq.

H2SO4 aq.

Sea Water

Paints

Detergents

etc.
