dark energy just can't be explained as a definition........ I myself have done research for it nearly four years and written 6 to 7 diaries about it
it is just opposite of energy....... when you push someone in a specified direction,it moves in that direction but it is quite opposite in dark energy

TRoni, Dark Energy is the energy that accelerates the Expansion of the Universe. This expansion can even lead to the crashing of the two galaxies -"Andromeda and Milky Way". After Millions of years okay, don't be scared. Thanks and bye.
