Debit card is a service issued to any special member of a bank. The special facility of debit card is that, a person may withdraw more then the amount kept in his account. It is given to those generally who have current account in bank and the 1 on whom bank have trust and his transactions occur regularly.

Debit cards look like credit cards, but function like cash or personal checks. ... Like a check when buying an item. The money used to pay for the transaction is usually deducted from your account within a day or two depending on when the retailer presents the transaction for payment.
