➡transferring the power from central and state governments to the local level of govt. is called decentralization..⏩ decentralization is very important in this present situation.. bcz many problems are settled at the local level itself. more than the higher govt officials local people have more knowledge abt the problems.. so a local government must be formed to deal with these problems.. this also helps the local people to participate in decision making which is a Vry important element of democracy...!!
