Decentralisation means the process of dispersing or distributing decision making power to the smaller units is known as decentralisation. It is adopted in many countries to give different ethinic or religious groups some autonomy and control over their own affairs. To share power among different political parties, which may have some basis in ethnic or regional ties. Democracy has swept throughout the world as a basic value and framework of governance over the past three decades and decentralisation is increasingly coming to be seen as a fundamental democratic principle
