what is defect of vision of human eye ? describe near-sightedness defect vision. how can this defect be rectified

There are two types of defect in human eye :-
1) Myopia (short-sightedness)
2) Hypermetropia (far-sightedness)

Near sightedness or Myopic patient can see closer objects clearly but distant object is unable to be seen clearly by him/her.

In this disease the eye ball gets enlarged hence to correct the vision Concave lens of suitable power is required.

near-sightedness defects is called " Myopia "
it is a vision defect in which the person can see nearby object, but can't see the distant objects clearly beyond a certain point.

Correction of myopia :- it is cure by using the Concave Len of focal length is equal to the distance of the far point F from the eye.
