Types of Polynomials :
❶ Monomial :-
- A monomial is an expression which contains only one term.
❷ Binomial :-
- A binomial is a polynomial expression which contains exactly two terms.
❸ Trinomial :-
- A trinomial is an expression which is composed of exactly three terms.
Distance Formula :-
The Distance Formula is a useful tool in finding the distance between two points which can be arbitrarily represented as points (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂).
The formula for distance formula is √(x₂ −x₁ )² + (y₂ − y₁)².
Section Formula :-
When the point P(x, y) divides the line segment into two halves, we may say that P(x, y) is the midpoint of the line segment. By the use of section and midpoint formula: m : n = 1 : 1.
The formula for section formula is { (m₁x₂ + m₂x₁)/(m₁ + m₂ ) , (m₁y₂ + m₂y₁)/(m₁ + m₂ ) } .
