Universal law of gravitation=> The two objects attract each other with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

❖ Sir Isaac Newton was the first scientist to precisely define the gravitational force.

❖ Every object in the universe is connected by an attractive force with all other objects.

❖ Every particle in the universe attracts every other particle with a force along a line joining them.

❖ It is called so because, it is applicable on all bodies having mass, and the bodies will be governed by the same law, that is newton's law of gravitation.
