Deforestation is defined as the process of removing the trees from the land and conversion of it into non forest land. Trees are being cut for many purposes i.e. to get timber to get products such as paper, furniture and land is being cleared for housing and making industries and factories. Deforestation affects climate change as trees are used to stabilize temperature. It also effects the species that live in forests, the water cycle and cause soil erosion.
