2) Basically moving here along the DEHYDROHALOGENATION REACTION ,
3) it is a major type of Elimination reaction in which
4) both the Hydrogen and the Halogen gets eliminated as a HALO ACID and the carbocation and carboanion both form a DOUBLE BOND
5) So here the Alkyl Halides are directly converted into the Alkenes in the presence of the Alcoholic KOH
6) SO THE REACTION BRGINS AS
⭐CH3-CH2Cl -------alc.KOH-----》 CH2=CH2 + HCl
