A delta is a landform that is created at the mouth of a river where flows into a ocean ,sea ,estuary,lake etc. Delta are usually formed at places where the slope of the river bed becomes too shallow before it enters the seashore and the stream of water loses speed . This causes to loose the sediments it had carried earlier
