Demagnetisation is a process in which a metal which is a magnet loses it's magnetic properties.

It can occur by melting the the magnet, putting the magnet in a magnetic field much stronger than it's own in the opposite direction or by spoiling it somehow.

hope it helps plz mark as brainliest

HI

✨ Demagnetisation : The loss of magnetism of a magnet.

➡️ It may occur due to :-

◾️the close proximity of similar poles.

◾️hammering or dropping of a magnet several times from a height or rough handling.

◾️the inductive effect of its own poles.

◾️the earth's induction.

◾️heating the magnet.
