for example :- India and USA have a democratic government.

there are some features of democracy which are :-

• under democracy, all citizens are given equal rights. every adult citizen have right to vote and each and every vote have equal value.

• elections are held in a free and fair manner.

• the citizens rule themselves in a democratic country. means they can elect their ruler and if they aren't satisfied with him/her, then people can change their ruler.
