Democracy is form of government in which rulers are elected by the citizen of that state.

Democracy is better than other forms of government like - Monartical/detectorship form of government because of the following reasons :-

1.Democracy enhance dignity of the citizen.

It permits people to have their freedom and respect.

2. It provides room to correct our own mistakes.

It allows not only citizens but also all the government official to correct their mistake and review too.

3. It is more accountable form of government.

4. It develops the quality of decision making.

5. It promotes equality among citizen with guarrenty rights.

6. It provides method to reduce conflicts.
