a force is what make something move by pushing it all pulling it in a particular direction it may be invisible force like gravity or a visible force like a kick but it always causes something to either accelerated or decelerate or change shape forces always work in pairs whenever a force causes it must push against something as equally which is why guns kick back violently when fired
