What is density? How is density calculated? Give the formula for calculating density?Prepare a chart which will calculate the density of all 8planets of solar system. 1. Density is the mass of an object divided by its volume. Density often has units of grams per cubic centimeter (g/cm3). Remember, grams is a mass and cubic centimeters is a volume (the same volume as 1 milliliter).

2. The formula for density is d = M/V, where d is density, M is mass, and V is volume.

4. Planet diameter = 2p × (distance to the planet) × (planet's angular size in degrees)/360°. Planet volume = (p/6) × (planet diameter)3. Density = mass/volume.

6. To calculate how many meters is 2 km, multiply 2 by 1000, that makes 2000m is 2 km.
