Explanation:

Population density is the measurement of population per unit area. (people per  {km}^{2} )

For example: India's population density is 382 person per sq km. To calculate population density..you can use this formula-

Population density= Number of people/ Land area

{Meaning: you will divide the population of the area by the size of the area}

The unit should be square kilometers or it can also be square miles
