Hello Ankit,

Density is defined as mass acting per unit volume.

Relative density is the comparision of density of substance with density of water.

SI unit of density are kg/m^3 or g/cm^3.

Hi there !!

Density is the mass per unit volume .

Density = Mass / Volume
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Relative density is the ratio of density of a substance to the  density of water.
Since , its  a ratio , its does not have a SI Unit .
Relative density = Density of substance / Density of Water

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The SI Unit of density is kg/m³
