Diapedesis:

Diapedesis is the process by which several cells can change their structure and can squeeze themselves out through small holes or apertures, much smaller than the cell’s diameter.

This process of Diapedesis is markedly seen in human WBCs. These white blood cells mainly macrophages can squeeze themselves out through the minute capillary openings and can come into tissues where they become the tissue counterpart of macrophages with different varieties of names. They also come in lymph and this increases the extent of protection and immunity against foreign antigens.
