Hydride is a hydrogen atom which has an extra electron. This means that it isa negatively charged ion, or anion. That is why Hydride ion (H-)
The isolated hydrogen ion, represented by the symbol H+, is therefore customarily used to represent a proton.

Hi, there !!
H + simply means => Electron has taken so + ve charge / ion
or ,
electron are taken out from H+ so it have positive charge .
H - ( hydride ion )
this formed when Electron are added to Hydrogen ion , so it generate H -
basically there is difference of adding and
takeing of Electron s
hope it helps !!
thanks !!
