(a) If the soil contains greater proportion of big particles, it is called sandy soil. (b) If the soil contains greater proportion of fine particles, it is called clayey soil. (c) If the soil contains about the same proportions of large and fine particles, then it is called loamy soil.

clayey soil has sticky, elasticity natures in large quantities, while loamy soil is not such sticky, elasticity.
