1.DNA is hereditary material whereas DNAse or Deoxyribonuclease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolytic cleavage of phosphodiesterase linkage in the DNA back bone. 2.DNA is present in nucleus whereas DNAse is present in cytoplasm of the cell. 3.DNA transfers genetic information from one generation to another. DNAse is an enzyme used to cleave DNA molecules during recombinant DNA technology.
