stars are the celestial bodies which emit heat n light continuously.
planets are the bodies which revolve around the sun in a certain orbit.


asteroid are the large rocky body in space , in orbit around the sun.
meteorids are much smaller rocks aur particles in orbit around the sun.

(a)- Early astronomers were able to tell the difference between planets and stars because planets in our solar system appear to move in complicated paths across the sky, but stars don't. That is, if you observe the sky night after night, the stars will appear in fixed positions with respect to each other.


(b)- Asteroid is a large rocky body in space in orbit around the sun. Meteoroid enters the earths atmosphere and vapourizes it becomes a meteor which is often called a shooting star
