What is difference between basefont and font tag for 10 class

basefont : it is a tag in which you dont specify the exact size of the alphaabets u want,you just type in increase or decerase terms

like; "+2" or "-2" the software itself will adjust its size adding 2 or subtracting two from the default size

whereas in font tag you have to specify the coorect size or font you want

like: "18" or "30"
