Explanation:

This color is also called color wheel blue. It is at precisely 240 degrees on the HSV color wheel, also known as the RGB color wheel. It is a spectral color which lies at, or near, the short-wave (violet) end of the traditional "blue" and possibly was classified as "indigo" by Newton. Its complementary color is yellow.

A blue object is an object that appear to be blue under various daylight conditions. (If it happens only on few light, we call it variable colour, but fortunately it doesn’t happens often in nature (and in normal life)). To define the exact colour of such object, we need to know reflection properties in many different wavelength (at minimum 20, better around 60; RGB is really not enough).

A blue light is usually defined as a light which create a sensation on our S-cones in eye (the “blue cones”). This could be either by a spectral blue, or a combination of spectral colours around violet to blue/green.

When we build televisions, computer screens, cinema projectors, etc. we care about what colour has the light exit on a “pixel” zone.

But the definitive colour is given by our brain. Under different conditions, we could see an azure likes white or like yellowish. DO you remember “the dress”? It was ”blue and black” or “white and gold”? The same colour was seen by different people as dark blue or white.
