what is difference between bibliography and footnotes?

They are two entirely different things. A bibliography gives references to things like mentioned or recommended books or journal articles so that you can find them for yourself.

An footnote supplies an explanation or more information on a word, idea, or issue mentioned previously when that information would impair the flow of the writing if included directly in the text but might be necessary for some readers to understand the text.
