In ecology and biology, abiotic components are non-living chemical and physical factors in theenvironment which affect ecosystems.Biotic describes a living component ofan ecosystem; for example organisms, such as plants and animals. All living things — autotrophs and heterotrophs — plants, animals, fungi, bacteria.
