However, in some parts of north-western India, the season begins from December. Generally, the average temperature during this season is about 10-15°C in northwest regions. The country experiences summer/premonsoon/hot weather season from March till June. The months from Julyto September are the most significant for rainy/south-west monsoon (WS Monsoon). Autumn/Post Monsoon/Northeast Monsoon/Retreating (SW Monsoon) are the season prevails in thecountry from the months of October to December.
