Cytoplasm is the gel-like substance found in the cell. All the cellular organelles are embedded in the cytoplasm.

The cytoplasm along with the cellular organelles is called protoplasm.

Protoplasm = Cytoplasm + Organelles  or Protoplasm - Organelles = Cytoplasm

Protoplasm is the content of the cell including the cell membrane,cytoplasm and the cell nucleus whereas cytoplasm is the jelly like substance surrounding the nucleus within the cell membrane. Thecytoplasm contains the cell organelles like mitochondria, ribosomes etc.
