A concentrated acid has a relatively large amount of solute dissolved in the solvent. A dilute acid has a relatively smaller amount of solute dissolved in thesolvent. 3. In a solution of a strongacid there would be solvated ions present, but no (or only a very small proportion of) associated molecules present.

Dilute means the acid has a large amount of water and is weak.
Concentrated means it has very less amount of water and is strong.
Hope it helps.
