The variable along the X-axis is thedomain and the variable along the Y-axis is the range. ... On the other hand,range is defined as a set of all probable output values. 5. Domain is what is put into a function, whereasrange is what is the result of the function with the domainvalue.

for a function F(X)
DOMAIN are the values of number for which a function is defined i.e
for example
in f(X) =x/(x-1)
we cannot put x =1 since function will not be defined at x=1
RANGE of function can be said as the set of values that a function gives
for example
f(x) = x/(x-1)
DOMAIN =R-{1}
and RANGE is [0,1)
thanks
