Dominance is the interaction of alleles at the same loci while epistasis is the interaction between various genes that are present at different loci. Dominance is the interaction where one allele masks the expression of another allele and only dominant allele is expressed while in epistasis the genes interact to control a particular phenotype and new phenotypes can appear.
