Double fertilization is a complex fertilizationmechanism of flowering plants (angiosperms). This process involves the joining of a female gametophyte (megagametophyte, also called the embryo sac) with two male gametes (sperm)

the fusion involving two polar nuclei and a sperm nucleus that occurs in double fertilization in a seed plant and results in the formation of the endosperm is know as triple fusion

ybhotmagey: i didn't understand it
teddybaby: the fusion of one male gamete with the egg and the other male gamete with polar nuclei is know as double ferlisation. the fusion of three nuclei( two polar nuclei and one male nucleus) is know as triple fusion
teddybaby: hope u have understood now
