Similarity:
The poems Song of the Rain and The Seven Ages talk about the journey from birth to death.  Shakespeare’s The Seven Ages traces the lifespan of a human being through extensive imagery of infancy, childhood, adult, manhood, age of wisdom and old age. Similarly, Song of the rain talks about the way rain originates from ‘the heart of the sea’ and ‘soars with the breeze’. Kahlil Gibran makes use of beautiful imagery to bring out the course that rain takes from begining from its arrival with the 'voice of  thunder' to its departure signalled by a rainbow.

Difference:
While Gibran makes use of device of personification to present his poem as the monologue of the rain, Shakespeare uses an extended metaphor to serve his purpose. It is the rain itself who talks of its origin, arrival and departure. On the other hand, Shakespeare makes theater a metaphor of life. For him, the world is a ‘stage’ and we all are merely performers who have come in this world to play roles.
One can say that the poets have used different techniques to talk about a similar theme.
