What is difference between gas and vapour?

vapour normally result for boiling and evaporation. vapour only co-exists in equilibrium with soild or liquid phases, wherae gases don't. gas and vapour are not essentially diffrerent in properties. A gas in equilibrium with it's liquid state or having temperature below it critical point is said to be a VAPOUR.
