1) Uniform composition
2) The particles are too small to be seen with naked eye.
3) They do not have physically distinct parts.
e.g.,common salt dissolved in water.
Heterogenous mixture
1) Non-uniform composition
2) The particles are seen with naked eye
3) They have physically distinct parts
e.g.,mixture of sand in water.
